what does it all mean?!

my days have been filled with unexpected joy, sleepless nights, adventures, running, and birthday cakes. but besides this, i have had more time being around others than usual. i really enjoyed that. the other day i went on an adventure _after i closed at work_ and didn't get back home til around 4:30 AM! then worked a full day, developed pictures for the ADX scrapbook then prepared for my get together for my celebration of birth with pretty much 1/2 the girls of ADX house. it was trully great. mmm. cake. i like. chocolate. describing my perfect cake. would be to have a perfectly portioned chocolate cake/mousse and raspberries and raspberry sauce design on the plate. i can picture this. i could make it. culinary skills come to me!!! lol . 

cooking for peeps. that is what i miss.

>>> learning to be more open to things going on around me. more open in thought, and more open in heart. to see how a person can approach a homeless person and comfort them, listen to them and simply give them a hug and smile, jeez. i have definitely been put on the other side of the fence to experience the heartbreak of what some people are facing as we stay sheltered in our nice clean beds, trying to figure out what to eat out of the fully stocked kitchen or where to go shopping, etc. understanding how truly BLESSED BEYOND measure we are. that we cannot and should not take one single thing for granted. in the book i am reading i feel compelled to share this: * that God calls us to be Holy, because  He is Holy. that most Christians get caught up in what is called "Cultural Holiness" meaning that they adapt to the character and behavior pattern of other christians around them. but that God has not called us to be like these other christians, but has called us to be like him.* think about it though. are you currently part of the current of what everyone else is doing around you who are Christian? or are you stepping away from that current and treading in your own walk to Holiness with God? be consistent. don't do what you think everyone else will think is right. do what is right in God's eyes. Hebrew's 12:14 says, "Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be Holy; without Holiness no one will see the Lord."
