God has been teaching me: slow things downnnnn.
working on this. so some great news: I am a proud Big. lol. weird to think that i now am (like a mother) to 2 lils. Metallica will always have place as # 1 but now i have another, but i won't name it here, just in case. but if you are curious text me. working on all the gifts for this week, neglecting school work now that i have a LEGIT reason to do so and feeling that pressure as i realize that i have 2 midterms this week and i straight-up failed a test last week. don't lose sight, don't lose sight....
God is so much bigger than all of this. . .
besides the sorority, church. so i found my new church: CVCF. love it there. i went to the rock last night b/c i missed my morning services b/c of our late arrival from retreat. love the friends and miles is great, but being there ... i just didn't feel home. and i know what home is supposed to feel like. everytime i go to my new home i am welcomed in by Jesus. and his presence is with me the entire time. so a grand praise: in one of my small groups the senior Pastor Mike is the co-leader. usually he never is in any of the small groups but he has chosen to only do this one out of the 86 ministries/small groups they have, this is truly a blessing. i have already learned more from him than what i have personally learned from going to the rock. i am grateful and i am blessed beyond belief. it never escapes my mind. and while i knew that this semester would be difficult: my ap being someone so broken from seeing her true beauty and purpose in life; my new lil addition seeking for that relationship with our sweet Jesus, and ministry: i have my work cut out for me. with challenges i know that will end up so fruitful . now i just need him. him alone. before where i was uncertain of ministry and missions trips, i am looking into that again now just trying to figure out if that is truly where he wants me to be. i love to serve others. i took the spiritual gifts test again: 1. server, 2. exhorter/encourager, 3. leadership. leadership was surprising but i definitely see God's purpose in me. and you my friends will have to wait to hear.
hope all is well, and you are in my prayers.
ps. it's raining outside. how AWESOME is that?
