a time for a change

praying for a change.

today is the first day. many more to come. i don't believe i ever heard it would be easy, but then again why does everything have to be difficult. my mind is playing tricks again. maybe it's because of the things i am staying away from...or because i feel the desire to gravitate towards those things because i feel the significance of them... hmmm. all i have going for me is that tomorrow is a new day, filled with adventure and next week i hardly have work, which is perfect in the devo book i will get tomorrow at church and the last small group meeting on tuesday. significance..... being able to buy things, eating junk, and fakebook, don't describe me as significant. i don't need those things. i only need God. so , hence this will be my challenge and i am looking forwards.

i hardly slept last nite. kept having dreams about shortages at work and being blamed.... i went to work today. had my drawer audited and was fine. before i left i had it audited and it was $10 short. i was the only one who rang. we audited all the other drawers and they were clean. my manager played detective told me not to worry, called me about 5 times tonite trying to figure out what happened. and just got a call meaning that we both apparently suck at counting money. it was fine the entire time. this is what happens when you are paranoid and have been closing every day for the entire week.

things happen for a reason: was first told exciting news about getting a loft bed, > yes i get excited about details< & then when tried to confirm the agreement the following day, was disappointed that it was promised to another party. me freaking out. i make plans before anything is finalized. huge mistake. but there is always a way to "stand up under it" and i came out w/ plan b. today got a call that plans fell through and i could have it if i wanted. oh... of course! haha. great!

book on hand: knowing God. comes highly recommended by robin and ryan. i will take their word for it. yes sir. also want to build my library. since work won't schedule me at all. and i haven't heard anything from the Rock, i will have time to read and learn. which will be useful.

as for me.... i am keeping busy. move into the house on june 2. and leave for vacation on june 28 to alaska..
