the first was waking up super early for my morning hike with sarah up cowles mountain. the second... today... was waking up at 4:15 AM going to the airport. flying to Utah. 2 hours layover. then flying 5 hours to hawaii. (it was way cheaper to fly to utah then to hawaii, rather than a direct flight... go figure!) but now i am happy to say... I HAVE ARRIVED!!!! these next few days i'm looking forwards to endless days in the sun. NOT getting burned, looking out for turtles and exploring along the beach, toes stuck in the sand, running like crazy, acting like the child i am, and of course spending some sweet time with God. i love being away, yet having a connection if so desired. but definitely being away to completely empty and replant what God desires within myself. reminding myself to strive to pour outwards. in love, in joy, and in mind. openess. but in order to be open with others you need to be open with God. once you are open to God, he will open doors for you to be open to others. =)
