it's so important to remember the people in our lives who have changed us into the persons we are today. living the direction that God has set before me and following it, i know that it's because of her that i didn't end things the way that i thought i wanted it to end. in part, it's because of her that i looked beyond what i desired and was led to God. She helped me to see that God loves me so much and would never let me fall. so i listened. took up my cross and followed God. 4 years ago, i wouldn't have thought that i would find myself here. i had something else planned for my so called life. but through her and God leading me, i found the greatest happiness and fulfillment of all: love.

moments of memory
i miss her. i will always miss her until we are united again. its something i daily struggle with. sometimes the distance between makes you closer than ever. she lived in sweden. i lived in san diego. she would bake swedish bread, and cinnamon rolls from scratch. i would prepare tea parties and fun. she would stay with us, in the hut that i now live in. she unfortunately departed from us 11 years ago. she was the only person that i confided in. i've always been told how much i am like her. down to how i look, to my mannerisms. even as time goes by, there is not one day that i don't think about my moments of memories growing up and spending those precious moments with her. but even though i miss her dearly, i know that i will see her again. and when i do, i will finally meet my grandfather, who passed before i was born.
