this cold brings out the emo in us all....

i love the rain. but the cold is cold. it's during this time of the rainy weather that things that were once blurry are set in place. the rain and it's timing is absolutely perfect. seeing how God can use me in his plan and recognizing that things are going to change, but it will be ok. i've been seeing things in my life; ie. relationships with my family, friends, and everything from a completely different perspective.

it's amazing how we forget how much we are loved. not only by our Father, but by the people who surround us. while we try to please those around us who really don't show us the love we need, we cannot give up on them, but we need to recognize the others who have been there standing waiting to receive our love and their love.

my bamboo plant was and has been growing every since i got it 2 years ago from ikea. it was recommended by my dad to put it outside to grow more, and without hestiation i did. sadly it is losing color, and i think i pushed it to be an outside plant too soon without preparing it for the harsh weather that has passed san diego. i guess i am kind of like that plant. i kind of pushed myself out there without being entirely ready. but like that plant i need to take some time away and be healthy and watered inside to be able to with hold with all the craziness outside.

it is valentines day to say the least. i guess i'm not a hater of valentines day. but i think it is entirely overrated. it's like fathers day or mothers day. valentines day to me is to show the one, or if you're single, like me, love on the people you love around you, (family) but why is valentines day only contributed to 1 day? we shouldn't just love our family for 1 day. basically it shouldn't be the only day that shows how much you love someone. fathers day and mother's day: oh mom, it's mother's day, let me do the dishes.... only on that day. ha. ok. but hopefully you can see the distinction. why do we allow only one day reserved. i like to think of helping my mom around the kitchen on a daily basis, or helping my dad with projects in the backyard, or showing them the love i have for them daily. not saving it all for one day.

who knows what i mean.? i believe i have gone in a complete circle.
that's why i like to blog. when i can. it's all the thoughts i have in this head scribbled down. it doesn't need to make sense to you. i just need to place it somewhere. i am not supposed to be a writer.

i think i'm lactose and tolerant. sad day. but i will continue to eat dairy til sunday. then sunday through sunday will see if there is a difference in my body's reaction.

music. hmmm. favorite sheet music that i will play after i write this: "Prelude in E Minor," and "Nocturne". all the while taking a bite of a brownie freshly baked, and sipping some homemade coffee, on a overcast day. this spells out sweetness all over it.

Mood: relaxed
Music: on tv: Dave Matthew's Band
Goods: friendly faces, brownies, coffee, house to myself, bamboo plants
